Traditional Cycle Shelters

"Lean-to" bicycle shelter

This is a ‘lean-to’ bicycle shelter, designed to be fixed against a suitable wall.  It is a budget shelter which can trace its roots back to the 1950’s.  This simple, functional shelter is constructed of a tubular steel frame with corrugated roof panels.  The Shelter can be extended by the addition of further bays, and is available with ragged feet for casting into existing concrete, or with flanged feet for bolting to an existing suitable concrete surface.  Side cladding panels are also available to offer greater protection from the elements.  The Cycle Shelter can accommodate up to 10 bicycles with a floor mounted Cycle Rack.

"Free-standing" bicycle Shelter

This is a free-standing, double sided bicycle shelter, suitable for two rows of cycle parking, can accommodate up to 20 bicycles with a roof sloping from the back to the front (or from the front to the back).  This simple, functional shelter is constructed of a tubular steel frame with corrugated roof panels.  The Shelter can be extended by the addition of extension bays. All other features and specification are as the "Lean-to".

Classic Cycle Shelters

The classic Cycle Shelter is a free-standing, single-sided cycle shelter designed for on-site assembly, constructed from galvanised steel and PET sheet.  The design is extremely robust. The frame is constructed from galvanised mild steel.  This shelter can accommodate up to 8 bicycles.  Additional extension bays can be added to suit on-site needs.  The shelter is also available with lockable ‘Zaun’ mesh doors for added security.  The Boston Cycle Shelter is available in a wide range of colour coating options. It is a popular design that exemplifies the manufacturer’s approach to cycle parking; the shelter is designed and fabricated to look good for years.  The Shelter can be specified with any number of extension bays, making it suitable for both use as a cycle shelter but also as a walkway, if required.

Contemporary Cycle Shelters

This Cycle Shelter is a free-standing, single or double-sided cycle shelter designed for on-site assembly, and is constructed from galvanised steel and PET sheet.  The frame is made entirely from galvanised mild steel; the uprights are 76mm round tube and the roof frame is 50mm square tube.  The roof is 4mm PETG UV stabilised clear sheet.  The rolled round tube legs offer an elegant yet strong frame that emphasise the modern aesthetic of the shelter.

It is a flexible shelter that can be used for both motorbikes and traditional bicycles.  Manufactured from mild steel and galvanised as standard to ensure its longevity, can accommodate up to 10 Sheffield cycle stands, providing secure storage for up to 20 bicycles.  Fully modular, can be extended as required to increase the cycle parking available on site.  Can be colour coated in any BS/RAL colour as required.

Cycle Compounds

The Cycle Compound is a free-standing, secure cycle shelter designed for on-site assembly, constructed from galvanised steel and PET sheet.  The Cycle Compound is suitable for two rows of cycle stands.  The frame is made from 50mm or heavy duty galvanised mild steel square tube.  The roof is 4mm clear sheet.  The compound is supplied with end panels for the shelters, one fixed mesh end and one door mesh end.  The door is lockable by key, or with an optional code keypad system.  A central roof section is available as a further option, meaning the Compound can be customised to suit a wide variety of requirements.  A standard 3.  3m Compound is suitable for storage of up to 16 bicycles.
