Waiting shelters or canopies can be designed and manufactured for a number of applications to provide simple shelter from rain and wind. The interior of the shelter can be open or have seating included. Typical applications include shelters for parents waiting for their children at schools, for designated smoking areas and at bus stops.
Materials used include galvanised steel frameworks with a powder coated finish for long-life protection, and polycarbonate glazed panels for the roof. Bespoke designs can be created to suit the individual aesthetic requirements of the application.
The Waiting Shelter is fully enclosed, providing a flexible, permanent covering suitable for a wide variety of sites and uses. Full height UV PETG sheeting is used to enclose the strong aluminium frame, protecting occupants from the worst of the weather. With a universal design, this waiting shelter is available up to 6m long, making it ideal for use in both commercial and public areas. The frame is powder coated grey as standard but can be coated in any BS or RAL colour. Available flanged only, the Open Spaces Waiting Shelter features an adjustable foot to make installation easier on uneven surfaces.
PLEASE NOTE: This particular shelter does not comply with UK & Irish Smoking regulations, though we are able to offer alternative shelters which do comply.
