In addition to our comprehensive range of standard designs, we very much specialise in handling the manufacture of individually designed street furniture to meet specific project requirements.
We are capable of carrying out the design work ourselves. Often we are approached by an architect and asked to produce a design based on a rough visual, a variation of one of our standard products, or just from a verbal brief. In all cases, our in-house designers use CAD to produce the proposal and are able to respond and deliver to your needs.
Our experience in designing is extensive and goes back many years, in which time we have been involved in countless projects and for both traditional and more contemporary property developments.
Where bespoke items of street furniture are required, we offer a full design service or can work to architect’s drawings or rough visuals, though in all cases we create detailed dimensioned CAD drawings for approval. For projects where we carry out the full design, the process would typically start with a consultation or site survey where our designer can take accurate dimensions and discuss the requirements in detail. Bespoke street furniture projects can draw on the wide range of material options and processes available from Procter Street Furniture, including mild or stainless steel, cast stone, concrete and timber. Where the products are manufactured from steel, our specialist partner manufacturer can incorporate laser cut, punched or folded features and apply high quality, durable galvanised or powder coated finishes. For products which include either cast stone or concrete, we use our own manufacturing facility.
